Benji is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Key member of folk big band Bellowhead, Benji has been performing solo for 25 years. Lauded releases such as Boomerang (2008), Hendrix Songs (2015) and Gold Has Worn Away (2019, with own band Benji Kirkpatrick & The Excess) have punctuated his work alongside others – Seth Lakeman, Steeleye Span, Faustus, Oysterband etc
